After graduating from Skidmore College, Monet worked in Manhattan for 9 years before returning home to the Burlington area in 2013. Practicing yoga and ballet throughout her life, she has always had an interest in physical health and movement. Like many others, she found her way to Pilates after a back injury. Through her own journey to healing through Pilates she discovered a passion for teaching this incredible method to her clients.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”

― Rainer Maria Rilke

Jane Pembroke Alsofrom
Jane Pembroke Alsofrom
I have been involved with health and fitness most of my life. I am a Stott (1999) and Polestar (2004) method educated Pilates instructor. Keeping our bodies in motion is crucial for our physical and mental health. Our bodies thrive on the challenge that exercise provides to our muscles and allows us to approach our lives from a healthy perspective. I love to provide a venue for people to challenge themselves while having fun!

As a radiation therapist and educator, teaching in the fitness studio or the classroom is my passion.

Supporting student’s intellectual and physical development is “what it’s all about!”
